Well I have spent an awful night being very very sick, the kids and I were watching Coraline last night when I began to feel a little off, tired, cold, upset tummy.
As soon as I got up to put the kids to bed I was violently sick, poor Tom tried to help but there wasn't a lot he could do, I managed to clean up and have a bath before I was sick again, then retired to bed with a bucket and towels. Sick twice more in the night, thank goodness the kids were due to go to their dads this weekend, so I have spent the day in bed, aching body, head and stomach but no longer throwing up.
So I am out of bed wondering whether or not I can eat anything and thought I would add a little to my blog whilst the kettle boils for a ginger tea. And no the above story is not what brings a smile to my face but my girls who dressed up yesterday as a bride & groom then had their own little wedding ceremony, I was listening to them from the kitchen and it just cracked me up, proper belly laugh, I love that, so I took a couple of pictures as I was also impressed with their outfits, especially the bride in a bed sheet!
This is what I heard as the girls played
"Sir Gadabout do you take this woman to be your awfully wedded wife through your tricky yet harmful life"
Well it put a smile on my face.
And makes me smile again today when I feel so awful. Kids, it's a cliche but they drive you nuts and make you laugh in equal measure.
