I have just completed these two hats for my girls christmas presents. Knitted up very quickly with a chunky Debbie Bliss yarn. Then I made the felt flowers, trying to keep the colours non girlie as both my little darlings are 'Tomboys' they refuse to wear any pink which is kind of cool but makes shopping for them a nightmare...it's amazing how many products aimed at girls of all ages are pink....so I'm thinking my girls may have to get into the groove with homemade goodies if we are to avoid the perilous pink path of girlishness.
