I completed this doll for a christmas order. She has a felt jacket and clothes made from vintage silk and lace. I made her a clay nose. The photo's were rather rushed as I finished just two days before christmas, then the children and I made a perilous trip up and down icy, snowy hills to deliver her. Very little salt & grit has been put down and few cars will risk the hills, we scrambled up on foot and slid down on bottoms!
Her jacket details, I loved making the little rosette, she was a fun character to create, when I sit down to work it sometimes takes a while to find the character I'm looking for but when it clicks it's great, the ideas just flow....it can be quite exciting...sad but true, I know I probably don't get out enough!
I've also had fun modelling a selection of noses.
oh i really like her outfit and the rosette is perfect! what a great christmas surprise.
